"If our midwife Anja @vonguteneltern hadn't been there back then, we would have been in a pretty stupid situation. And if she and her husband Christian now ask me to briefly focus on midwives in Germany and their plight, then I'm happy to do so.
Back then, it was natural for us to have midwives who we could call if we had any questions or concerns.
Midwives who were there to help and advise you throughout your entire pregnancy. They explained to you what was going to happen and what you needed to pay attention to. You were happy that you could still ask them for advice after the birth.
