MORE MIDWIVES is a fashion label run by midwife Lena and her partner. Together, they create creative, trendy, and colorful styles to confront society with the acute problems facing midwives, obstetrics, and thus women and children.

Who are the founders of MORE MIDWIVES?

Lena completed three years of midwifery training and, after gaining some practical experience and a background in design, works as a freelance midwife in Berlin. She is an expert in all aspects of birth, pregnancy, and the postpartum period. Her partner has an e-commerce background and supports the brand's development from a sales perspective. This is the best of both worlds.

Do you actually make midwife merchandise?

The term "midwifery merch" is a combination of "midwife" and "merchandise" and refers to products designed specifically for midwives. The fashion label offers, among other things, high-quality merchandise that represents and supports the midwifery profession. However, the MORE MIDWIVES fashion label also addresses the topics of birth, women, children, society, everyday hospital life, and the situation of students.

What's the MORE MIDWIVES Cap all about?

It all more or less began in the stressful daily routine of a midwife. Between numerous home visits, founder Lena had had enough: She wanted to draw attention to the unfair pay of midwives relative to their services. She boldly wrote this on her first hat in a knitting pattern: "MORE MIDWIVES!"
