Demonstration against the Midwifery Assistance Contract!

The situation is serious. Since the Midwifery Assistance Contract came into force in November 2025, self-employed midwives across Germany have been fighting for their livelihoods – including in Konstanz.

The images of the Konstanz independent midwives speak volumes. These are not abstract numbers, but people who have formed the backbone of local obstetrics for decades.
