Trauma bei Frühgeburt & psychische Folgen für Mütter (24.–34. SSW)

Trauma in Premature Births & Psychological Consequences for Mothers (24–34 Weeks of Gestation)

Hello everyone,

I'm Antonia, a new nurse at the University Hospital Bonn and a midwifery student at the University of Bonn. ☺️

As part of my bachelor's thesis, I am researching self-stigma in the context of prematurity. This is part of a very interesting study at the University of Bonn. At the Institute for Midwifery Science, we want to investigate the feelings mothers experience after a premature birth – especially with regard to trauma from premature birth and possible psychological consequences for mothers.

For this, we are looking for study participants who have given birth to a living child between the 24th and 34th week of pregnancy in the last 2 years (and whose child is currently no longer hospitalized). The results should help improve the care and support of affected families and bring the topic of psychological consequences for mothers after premature birth and trauma from premature birth more into focus.

We want to reach as many mothers of premature babies as possible. That would help us a lot ❤️

Thank you very much and warm regards
